About the alt.SPACE Network of Artist Research Groups

Although the alt.SPACE Network originates in a set of collaborative structures initiated in London by the artist collective C.CRED [Collective CREative Dissent], the London group itself is at the moment not active within the network, largely due to the re- location of some of the founding members of the group. However, the various activi- ties of the London group remains the basis from which many of the current activities of the network derives, and many of the members of the former London group are now active in other groups within the net- work. We very much hope at some point to be able to resume our activities in London, until then this site thus functions somewhat as an archive of events and processes sign significant to the development of the network.
